Christmas Parades

We have 2 Christmas parades to take part in this year, so if you can’t make one then there is a second chance. The parades are not just for the juniors, we need clubbies from all ages and stages of the club to take part in sending the Swim between the Flags message to our communities. We will be dressing the float/boats in Red and Yellow and would like everyone dressed in their club gear or lifeguard uniforms including beanies for the children.  If you don’t have a club hoodie or t-shirt then please wear anything red or yellow. Westgate Christmas Parade – Saturday 26 November (10am parade) Assemble from 9am at the carpark on Westgate Drive opposite AA for the 10am parade.  As the club is planning a large fundraiser early next year involving this business community, it is important we support this event.  Please contact if you are able to be a part of this parade. Kumeu Christmas Parade – Friday 2nd December (6.45pm parade) Face paint and sausage sizzle will be provided for the children, younger children will be in the surf boat being towed and lifeguards will walk along side.  Meet at the Huapai Domain at 5pm to dress the boats and for the sausage sizzle.  Judging starts at 6pm and the parade departs at 6.45pm.  Nippers let your Group manager you are going and lifeguards please contact   Pick up for the children is at the Kumeu showgrounds at the completion of the parade.

New Lifeguard Shirts

The new uniform shirts have arrived and will be in place in the club merchandise shop from next weekend.
New shirts will be issued on an exchange basis – ALL your old shirts need to be handed in and we will give you ONE new shirt. This can be done while the uniform shop is open (every Sunday 9.30-12 & other times as advertised via Facebook).
We have only been allocated one shirt per guard so unfortunately you’ll have to build your stocks up again.
Please be aware that once you have the new uniform the old shirts are no longer able to be worn on patrol and will put the club at risk during patrol audits if anyone is found in the old uniform. All clubs have already been warned that the patrol audits will be cracking down on uniform this season.
